Media: Donkey Kong Jungle Beat Trailer: Wii Gameplay (No Sound)

As announced at Nintendo’s press conference in Japan last night, they will be getting remakes of GameCube games Pikmin and Donkey Kong Jungle Beat for the Wii. And apparently they’ve been altered to use Wii controls.

No video of Pikmin yet, but check out Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, an excellent game from the makers of Super Mario Galaxy, in the video below. Note however that the video lacks sound.

Unfortunately, no word yet on a North American release, but we’re looking into it. As for DK, I sure hope this works better than Barrel Blast, the last DK bongo game they ported to Wii.
