Red Steel 2 was one of the games I was most looking forward to this year. But thanks to the need to get clear out of Dodge and avoid the furious wrath of Modern Warfare 2 and its ilk the decision to add some extra polish, the game has been postponed until 2010.
So, with that in mind, G4TV.com sat down with Creative Director Jason Vandenberghe to discuss the project and what is coming, as well as what the team is doing with the extra development time:
Really, I am just kidding about the Modern Warfare 2/delay cause-and-effect bit up there. Whether that had anything to do with it or not, too many games get rushed out to market before they’re ready, and I’m glad to see that Red Steel 2 is getting something which seldom seems to be afforded developers: time. And I hope that time will pay off.
