Each console is going to have its advantages with Mega Man 9. The Wii will have an easily-appropriated control scheme using the Wii remote as an NES controller to relive the old days. Sony has… well… I wanted to say that you could marathon through the entire series without having to get up by using Mega Man Anniversary Collection, but newer PS3s won’t play that, since it’s for PS2, will they? At least Wii will be offering the first two on Virtual Console… or should be, anyway.
Anyway, Microsoft’s advantage will be that it has those glorious Achievements and Gamerpoints, and it seems that Inside MGC has gotten their hands on what those Achivements will be, along with greyscale pixel art of the eight Robot Masters, seen above.
Who knows, maybe Sony owners will get lucky, and Trophies will be retroactively added at some point. In the meantime, check out what’s required of you in order to establish bragging rights on Xbox, followed by how many points each is worth. Warning: Some of these sound pretty tough.
