Microsoft ‘committed’ to Xbox One, despite sudden PC focus

Since the announcement of Quantum Break headed to PC, members of the Xbox One community have been voicing their concerns to Microsoft concerned over the apparent abandonment of their console.

According to Xbox Head Phil Spencer, Microsoft is not abandoning the Xbox one.

"The fundamental concern that people have is, 'Are we losing focus on the console?' 'Is Microsoft somehow going to back away from our console focus and have us only focus on Windows?' Absolutely not true," said Spencer in an interview with IGN. "We are more committed to our console and the future of that console than we have ever been."

Whether Microsoft expected this reaction from fans, well according to Spencer 'expected' isn't the word he would choose. "Expected is too high of a word, but I know there is a lot of passion around Xbox."

Whether some Xbox one stay exclusive to the console will only be revealed in the future.
