Major Nelson’s Xbox Live blog updated today with a nice little surprise for Gold members of Xbox Live.
According to Nelson, from now on Gold members will get early access to free content on the Xbox Live Marketplace. Meanwhile, Silver members will get access to the same content one week after release.
Nelson says this change is not being done to anger Silver Xbox Live members. “This is not done to annoy our Silver members—limited time exclusive access to content is just one of the many benefits of having a Gold Xbox Live account,” he wrote in his blog post.
As paying members of Xbox Live, we certainly won’t complain.
