Mojang's Daniel Kaplan just posted a photo of the Minecraft: PS4 Edition splash screen, teasing: "Almost there."

Minecraft: PS4 Edition could be released "soon," if a tweet by Mojang's Daniel Kaplan is any indication.
Following news that the Xbox One Edition will be released on Friday, Kaplan took to Twitter to address his Sony friends, writing: "You will get a Minecraft surprise soon.. or maybe sooner?!"

His tweet was then followed by PlayStation France which claimed the PS4 version will release today as part of the EU PlayStation Store update; although, no other Sony channels have confirmed that. The original tweet has since been deleted.
As always, we'll be keeping an eye out for any updates regarding Minecraft: PS4 Edition's release. There's no word on the PS Vita version.
