Need Humanity: Dark Souls playthrough Episode 14 – Anor Londo Part 2, Shortcuts, & Giant Blacksmith

The Need Humanity playthrough series looks to introduce newer players to Dark Souls, help them with general mechanics, find items, and help with bosses. I trudge through Lordran, derp around bonfires, and kills some badies in the process.

In the fourteenth of this series, me and Rei explore the innards of Anor Londo. With so many locked doors and Silver Knights, the place is like a mini labyrinth – luckily we know the way. We take you on a journey through the grand halls, upstairs, past the Onion Knight, while opening shortcuts along the way, you never know when you’ll need them. Eventually we reach the Giant Blacksmith where we upgrade Rei’s gear and where boss souls can be used to forged into great weapons (even though we don’t – halberd life).
