The Need Humanity playthrough series looks to introduce newer players to Dark Souls, help them with general mechanics, find items, and help with bosses. I trudge through Lordran, derps around bonfires, and kills some badies in the process.
In the second of this series, me and Rei learn the value of suicide runs – the art of trying to get an item without caring if you live or die in the process. Since you lose all held humanity and souls when you die, the “suicide run” should only be achieved when you have neither. I take us down to the New Londo Ruins where I reveal the location of a Fire Keeper Soul you can get right off the bat. Lastly, we enter Undead Burg WHERE THE TRUE DARK SOULS BEGINS!
Also featured in this video is the Estoc, Parambonus explanations, parrying, going clubbing, kicking, and early farming paths. Check it all out and get your Dark Souls on. Is there a shout out to Giant Dads? Mayyyyyyyybe.
