The Need Humanity playthrough series looks to introduce newer players to Dark Souls, help them with general mechanics, find items, and help with bosses. I trudge through Lordran, derp around bonfires, and kills some baddies in the process.
In the thirty-fourth of this series, Rei and I finish up the DLC finally. With Manus dead, we look towards the optional boss – Kalameet. Through a series of interactions with Hawkeye Gough, the great dragon is shot down so we can fight him. On our way, we end Marvelous Chester’s existence so he can’t invade anyone else, ever. What a jerk. Then… Kalameet. It’s rough but we take down the mighty beast but at what cost and for what reason? Only Gwyn remains. I’m calling him out RIGHT now.
