Need Humanity: Dark Souls playthrough Episode 9 – Depths, Kirk, & Gaping Dragon

The Need Humanity playthrough series looks to introduce newer players to Dark Souls, help them with general mechanics, find items, and help with bosses. I trudge through Lordran, derp around bonfires, and kills some badies in the process.

In the ninth of this series, I take Rei deep into the depths. Once there, we rage quit vs. butchers (oops), fail at plunging attacks, find a bonfire with no issues, and then get horribly horribly lost while searching for Kirk to get invaded. With Kirk dead, we seek out the Gaping Dragon to end its disgusting existence to rest. At the end, I explain how and where to level a weapon to a +10 pretty easily – some grinding is involved. Crack open that humanity, warm up the ole pyromancy glove, and slaughter oozes.
