Nintendo has reported its operating profit is up! At this time of the year last year, Nintendo had a profit of 28.77 billion yen. This year, Nintendo’s profit is at 40.01 billion yen, a great rise from last year! The success is mostly due to the Nintendo DS, which is selling out across the US. The GBA has also had a great year. The Gamecube has released hit titles such as Metroid Prime 2: Echoes and Pikmin 2.
Since their profit is up, Nintendo now expects to sell over 5 million DS units by the end of March next year.
