rien non plusIn the recent edition of EGM, many famous developers reveal their upcoming and possibly upcoming DS games. Although no actual quotes were given, here are the summaries on the following titles

Super Monkey Ball’s Toshihiro Nagoshi:
Nintendo has asked Mr. Toshihiro Nagoshi about a Super Monkey Ball DS and that he was very interested in making one.

Baten Kaitos’ Shinji Noguchi
Shingi Noguchi has said that feedback from gamers would love a DS version of Baten Kaitos and that a card based game like Baten Kaitos would work well with the touch panel.

Castlevania’s Koji Igarashi
Koji Igarashi has confirmed a DS version of Castlevania with the same style gameplay as the latest GBA version; Aria of Sorrow.

Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden’s Tomonobu Itagaki
Tomonobu Itagaki has been quoted as saying the DS is better than the PSP and that a game is being made for the system. Also his daughter Tomonobu Itagaki is a huge Nintendo fan.

Sonic’s Yuji Naka
Along with a new Sonic Game demoed at E3, Yuji Naka has confirmed that Chu-Chu Rocket and another game dubbed Project RUB are in the works for the Nintendo DS.

Final Fantasy XII’s Yasumi Matsuno
Has said that he will make games for the DS once he can figure out how to implement new ways to use its features.

The Silent Hill director has also confirmed that Silent Hill will be coming to the Nintendo DS, but not as a scary game, but more likely to be a shooting oriented version.

The Contra director has also stated that he will make games once he figures out how to implement new ways to use its features.
