Nintendo is making a big push to get Wii users to go online… in Europe, at least.
Ironically, PlayStation Gamer UK was the one to notice and report a fairly large advertisement on the Yahoo UK-Ireland website that says, quite simply, to “Get It Online.” It links to a part of the Nintendo of Europe website dedicated to touting all the virtues of having an online-enabled Wii, and all with a sexy accent.
One is left to wonder why the sudden push, and if Nintendo may have any grander plans in mind for when they have more people utilizing the online capabilities of the Wii.
Or perhaps they simply want more people to use what’s already there.
