It’s full-on hype-mode for the upcoming Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, and, it appears, that Nintendo will be augmenting that hype by releasing both Metroid for the NES and Super Metroid for the SNES on the Virtual Console. Images of both the Metroid and Super Metroid title screens popped up on the Virtual Console web server yesterday.
The ESRB has not issued a rating for either Metroid titles yet; however, that doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be in Nintendo’s best interests to release both Metroid titles before Metroid Prime 3: Corruption launches later this month.
