Amidst recent speculation, a Nintendo spokesperson has denied reports claiming an early prototype of Nintendo’s DS platform will be shown at special retailer briefings in Japan this weekend.
The product briefings will take place in the regional offices of Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka and Nagoya, with several new titles including Kidou Senshi Gundam and Zelda: the Four Swords for Nintendo GameCube confirmed to be presented to Japanese retailers.
Despite ongoing confusion from the gaming public and industry members alike, Nintendo will officially reveal the new hardware platform at this year’s E3 expo in May.
