5. Vlitra – Asura's Wrath
If you are going to have Asura, then his main villain Vlitra needs to be accounted for as well. His ability to morph into basically any form he wants, as well as shoot giant mantra energy beams wherever he wants makes for Vlitra to be a formidable opponent in MvC Infinite
4. Arthur – Ghosts N' Goblins
Ghosts n Goblins, an original NES game, is one of the hardest games ever made. Arthur is a knight with a huge amount of weapons such as lances, daggers, axes, swords, cross bows and can hold shields with elemental powers such as sun, moon, dragons etc. His signature double jump would also be a great ability in the game. In addition to special shields, Arthur can also use gigantic armor he operates from inside similar to the Hulkbuster Ironman suit
3. Frank West – Dead Rising
The commentary alone from Frank would make his addition an awesome one. Add that to the various amount of combinations he could make use of and you're cooking with gas. Although he doesn't have any special abilities, the varying weapons alone could lead to some great effects and super moves.
2. Wizard of Karma – Breath of Fire
Breath of Fire The main enemy of Nina and Ryu in Breath of Fire, the Wizard of Karma has access to all kinds of spells. An often forgotten but formidable opponent, he can use lightning, ice and teleportation spells and would make an interesting character into the MvC franchise. Ryu could be a character, but since he's already a character from Street Fighter, we went with the Wizard as he's the main antagonist.
1. Jill Valentine – Resident Evil
The main protagonist in the series, Jill can use guns with hand to hand combat in order to take people down. A Delta force member and agent of S.T.A.R.S., Jill could hold her own with anyone in the series, and I'm picturing a super move something like Morrigan where she pulls out a huge amount of guns or just a crazy physical attack with lightning fast strikes.
Capcom has a lot of great characters and franchises, so it's easy to miss your own, personal favorites. Let us know what you think of them below, and be sure to check out our Top 10 Marvel characters we want to see in MvC: Infinite as well.
With the announcement of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite at the PlayStation Experience, we were left asking "Who is going to be in it?" If there were to be a dream list of 10 Capcom characters that would be featured in the game, it would need to have at least 10 of the best Capcom characters we know. Some of the characters might have appeared in previous MvC games and while everyone has their personal favorites, these are the 10 Capcom characters that need to be in Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite.
Let us know about the ones we picked, as well as which ones you want to see at the end. They are listed in no particular order, with preference to characters making their first appearance.
10. Mike Haggar – Final Fight
A former pro wrestler with a giant build, he's a hands-on wrestler similar to Zangief in Street Fighter. HIs signature spinning jumping piledriver would be an amazing super move in MvC Infinite.
9. Samanosuke – Onimusha
Samanosuke is a classic character from one of Capcom's most beloved fighting franchises. Ahead of its time, Onimusha became one of its most popular games. His dual swords and various other weapons he could employ would make for some excellent fighting in MvC Infinite. With the Nobunaga spin-off games, it would be good to see Samanosuke back in action again.
8. Rikuo – Darkstalkers
Whether it's wrapping people up in Squid tentacles or ripping them apart with crab claws, Rikuo has everything you need for a character in MvC Infinite. He can transform various parts of his body into different forms of aquatic creatures which could make for some awesome combos.
7. Nobunaga – Onimusha
The main villain in the Onimusha series, Nobunaga has a wide variety of weapons he could use. Whether it's his giant sword he uses in the majority of the game, the red lightsaber-type weapon or plain old bamboo sword, Nobunaga has the weapons and look to appear in MvC: Infinite. Fully armored with spiked plates on his shoulders and arms, Nobunaga could be a force in both CQC and from a distance.
6. Asura – Asura's Wrath
A demi-god, Asura gains his power from his affinity to wrath. Therefore, like the Hulk, the angrier he gets the stronger he becomes. His transformation moves like Vajra, Berserker and Wrath forms would make for some amazing combinations in a fighting game as well as unlimited super move combinations. Arguably Capcom's most classic series, Asura definitely needs to be in MvC: Infinite
