PC game releases for February 2015

Whether you were slaying zombies and running across the rooftops in Dying Light, taking a trip down memory lane with Heroes of Might & Magic 3 HD, or control time in the rural town of Arcadia Bay, Oregon, in Life is Strange, you had quite the repertoire of games to sink your teeth into. Luckily, February is looking even meatier, with a bunch of solid releases.

Let's take a look, shall we?

Grow Home – February 4th

Ubisoft's experimental game, Grow Home, will have you playing as BUD, the Botanical Utility Droid sent on a mission across the galaxy to search for new species of plants to oxygenate his home world. On his mission he comes across the Star Plant – the perfect specimen for oxygenation. According to Producer Pete Young, "BUD’s mission is to grow it to maturity and harvest the seeds it produces. The plant ends up being a towering two-kilometer-high bridge from the ground to his space ship."

Evolve – February 10th

What's better than teaming up with four of your buddies to take down giant beasts? Having a fifth player be the giant beast. Evolve is a 4v1 game where four hunters team up and try to hunt down another player that's controlling one of many hulking and dangerous monsters. And with 2K looking over the results of the last beta, they'll make sure that the game is fine tuned to be balanced, so no side is ever more powerful than the other. Evolve drops February 10th.

Dead or Alive 5: Last Round – February 17th

What does a cast of lovely ladies, martial arts, and jiggle physics have in common? Dead or Alive of course. Dead or Alive 5: The Last Round, will be kicking and punching its way to PS4 next month. Last Round adds two new characters, and upgraded graphics to make use of the improved hardware. After its release on February 17th, the devs will also add an online component so you can take your bouts online.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse – February 24th

Think you know the storyline of Dragon Ball Z? Think again. In Xenoverse, you'll be playing as your own created character, traveling through time with Trunks, ensuring that the Dragon Ball timeline is kept in order. By having the timeline be disrupted, this will create new, never before seen scenarios, that will add some variety to the tried and true storyline that DBZ fans are familiar with. Dragon Ball Xenoverse releases February 24th.

Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires – February 24th

If you're the type that likes to strategize their attacks against other countries, and simultaneously murdering thousands upon thousands of soldier with a single unit, then Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires should be on your radar. The Empires version is slightly more sim oriented. Here you can lead your created character through battle, marry, and even have children that will carry over stats to their children. If you're a fan of Dynasty Warriors games and wish they had a little bit more depth, Empires is certainly the game for you.

Resident Evil Revelations 2: Episode 1 – February 24th

If you're a fan of episodic games but wish they were a little more action packed, Resident Evil Revelations 2 might just be the game you're looking for. The story will take place between RE5 and RE6, where Claire Redfield will once again be the main character, however, others like Barry Burton will be playable as well. The first episode will release on February 24th.
