The PC actually has a slew of great titles coming to it, whether it's new IPs like Invisible, Inc. and Not a Hero, or some existing ones like the fantastic Axiom Verge, Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth2, and Final Fantasy IV: The After Years.
Of course we can't leave out the highly anticipated Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which I'm sure a majority of you have been upgrading your PCs for, myself included.
So without further ado, let's get into the PC games of May.
Wolfenstein: The Old Blood
Good old BJ Blazkowicz is at it again, though this time the adventure happens before the events of The New Order.
The game will be split up into two separate campaigns, one where BJ must infiltrate Castle Wolfenstein to steal coordinates to the Nazi compound, and the second where he travels to the location to confront a Nazi archeologist that threatens to release a dark and ancient power.
Not a Hero
From the developer behind OlliOlli, comes a 2D cover-based shooter that will have you sliding, ducking and diving for cover as you participate in intense shootouts.
Project CARS
If you're a fan of all things automobile, then Project CARS might be your next obsession. This gorgeous racer comes from Slightly Mad Studios and will feature over 65 cars to break speed limits with.
Invisible, Inc.
Invisible, Inc., comes from Klei Entertainment, the folks behind the awesome 2D stealth game, Mark of the Ninja and the action packed Shank games.
However, Invisible, Inc., is a departure from those games, and instead is a turn-based tactical game set in the world of spies and agents.
Axiom Verge
I've already told you how amazing Axiom Verge is in my official review. So if you didn't happen to have a PS4 or Xbox One and were holding out for the PC version, then May's got you covered.
Axiom Verge is a tribute to Metroid and Metroidvanias, with an homage to the Metroid games themselves, but also completely unique gameplay elements that set it apart from those titles. Seriously, it's worth checking out.
Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth2: Sisters Generation
This one originally released on the PS Vita, but like its predecessor, it made the jump to PC, complete with a higher resolution and a silky smooth framerate. I've also reviewed this game and very much enjoyed it, though I know it won't be for everyone.
It's a game where you take control of cute Anime girl representations of various game consoles in order to save the world of Gamindustri.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Let's face it, if you own a powerful PC, chances are you have Witcher 3 already pre-ordered. Not much to say except that it concludes Geralt's story in a glorious open-world setting, allowing you to explore and hunt, as well as complete loads of sidequests that are sure to keep you busy for dozens of hours.
Magicka 2
If you're the type that likes to tinker with things until they explode, then Magicka 2 might just be the perfect game for you. Like in the original Magicka, you can once again combine various spells together for wildly different magical effects, and either choose to cast them on your enemies or yourself.
And if the game's debut live action trailer is any indication, it looks like the comedy factor has been turned up to 11.
Final Fantasy IV: The After Years
This 3D version of Final Fantasy IV: The After Years has never been released stateside. The story takes place 17 years after the events of the original game, and is split up into 10 chapters.
You can also expect familiar faces to join a cast of new characters, and some sweet new gameplay enhancements, such as phases of the moon affecting your party, as well as Band Abilities that will strengthen as your party's affinity rises.
