We should be clear. If videogames never existed Kombo.com would still exist pretty much as it does today, only we would be reviewing, previewing, and dealing out news about cartoons instead. Videogames do exist, which means we can’t spend our precious bandwidth blogging about the coolest animated shows on television. However, occasionally we get lucky and one of the better cartoons on TV gets a videogame and then we have a decent excuse.
For those who are unaware, Phineas and Ferb is a Disney XD (Disney channel primarily for boys) show that follows step-brothers Phineas and Ferb as they travel the globe on adventures, deal with their older sister, and their secret agent pet platypus, Perry. It is considered by cartoon connoisseurs to be among the top three cartoons aimed at children (beg in the comments and we’ll tell you the other two).Â
The game will be released for the Nintendo DS and will give players the chance to pilot a variety of “crazy cool” vehicles. It should be on shelves today, September 14.
