Physical Damage: Our first look at Yu-Gi-Oh! Dice Masters

On our first episode of Physical Damage, where we take a little break from the digital games, we take a look at the newly released Yu-Gi-Oh! Dice Masters from WizKids.

WizKids was cool enough to supply us with a starter pack, two boosters as well as a single player playmat.

Much like deck building games, where you start off with a generic hand and constantly add powerful cards to your deck as you progress, Dice Masters takes that same formula. As a dice building game, you start with a handful of generic dice, and use the resources you rolled to effectively purchase hero dice into your dice bag. You then reach in on your turn and pick out four at a time, hopefully drawing better dice that you have purchased over the course of the game.

In our first episode, we open the box and the boosters to give you guys an idea of what the game, cards and dice look like, however we don't take you through a full run through of the game, instead, we do a short overview of it with a fully set up board.
