Glalie and Steelix both find themselves in a similar Mineral group, but that's about where their similarities begin and end.
Steelix is a Steel-Ground type Pokémon, while Glalie is an Ice type, the two didn't even originate in the same generation of Pokémon, but they were both part of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire demo.
The ORAS demo allows you to transfer over Mega Steelix and Mega Glalie, but it depends on where you live. If you were a part of the Japanese demo, you have access to Mega Steelix, if you were in the North American demo Mega Glalie is yours. Other wise, you've got to visit two different locations for the Mega Stones.
Here's where you can find more guides for catching legendary Pokémon and finding Mega Stones.
