Although news of a DS Spyro title has been in circulation for a few months now, Vivendi has now made the game official. Spyro Shadow Legacy is headed to the Nintendo DS this fall.
Spyro Shadow Legacy is in development at Amaze and will inject light RPG elements into a Spyro title for the first time. The touch screen will be used to trigger new abilities and spells Spyro earns as he defeats enemies. The other screen will show an overhead 2D map.
