It seems as Japan is getting all the good news as of late because SCEJ has announced the price for two of its PlayStation 3 launch games. Resistance: Fall of Man and Genji 2 are both set at a price of 5980 Yen (around $50).
It has been known for some time that PS3 games are going to cost at least $59.99 in North America according to the Sony Style website.
This is not the first time Japan has seen a reduced price for PS3 related goods. TGS 2006 revealed that the 20gig configuration of the PS3 got a price cut in Japan only. With Sony cutting prices in Japan it has left many gamers wondering, “Will the rest of the world see these price reductions?â€
