Ubisoft has announced that Prince of Persia Classic, its 2.5D update to the original 1989 classic Prince of Persia, will be leaping onto Xbox Live Arcade this week.
PoP Classic features new enemies, traps, and puzzles, as well as completely rehauled 3D graphics.
UPDATE: Prince of Persia Classic will be available for 800 Microsoft Points ($10).
The game will include several different gameplay modes: normal, time attack, and survival. In normal mode, players will be given an unlimited amount of time to complete each level and the game. Time attack introduces a 60 minute time limit for players to complete the entire game. Survival mode also has a 60 minute limit, with the added restriction of only one life. Each mode will have its own online leaderboard.
For those big into their Gamerscore, PoP Classic will pack 12 achievements, though no examples have been given.
