IGN has reported that contacts within the development studio behind Project H.A.M.M.E.R. have been told to terminate the project.
“We placed calls to Nintendo of America for an official confirmation or denial, but the subsidiary did not get back to us in time for publish,” said the article.
Project H.A.M.M.E.R. debuted as a first-party title from Nintendo at the Electronics Entertainment Expo 2006 and was part of a group of games (such as Disaster), which release dates remain TBA.
NST, the studio behind Project H.A.M.M.E.R., will allegedly be working on games that are made for an “expanded audience”.
At this time, Project H.A.M.M.E.R.’s termination is not official.
