PS3 WipEout Goes on a Diet

Gaming Age recently compared the new WipEout fact sheet with one from several months ago, and discovered that a few features have been slashed.

Among the features lost are online community functionality (no nifty player profiles), race rules customization and photo mode (were you really going to use it, anyway?). Luckily, racing hasn’t been cut out, which is all we really care about.

WipEout is now listed as “coming soon,” and these features were presumably cut out so the game could make its release date. Look for WipEout to hit the PSN “sometime soon.”
