In a recent interview with GameSpot, Sony Computer Entertainment America Product Marketing Manager John Koller revealed the ugly truth about the PSP 3000: That it will have a shorter battery life than its predecessor.
Battery life will decrease by a small amount, it’s about 20 minutes maybe 30 minutes and that’s because there’s a larger power draw with the brighter screen. — eXophase
On the upside, this means they can sell more of those extended-life battery packs, which contrary to rumors will not be discontinued and will remain available this holiday season, allowing for 8-10 hours of playtime.
