In a recent poll, Japanese website ITmedia polled readers to vote on the new PSP features, announced and unannounced, that they want the most. The least popular features, totaling only 3% of votes each, were the camera attachment and support for electronic money. Another 14% of the votes went to the GPS receiver, which would allow the PSP to act as a portable navigation device.
The most popular feature was for the 1seg TV service. 1seg, uses 13 segments allotted to terrestrial digital television broadcasting, began earlier this year and allows viewers to watch programming on a range of portable devices. The DS currently has a 1seg device in the works.
