As earlier reported by GameCube Advanced, SEGA of America has now officially revealed that Puyo Pop Fever, its latest incarnation of its bean-dropping puzzle design, will be heading to the Nintendo DS, possibly as a launch title.
The Puyo Pop franchise has been around for many years, and now Sega will be bringing the franchise to Nintendo’s new handheld. By taking advantage of the innovative touch screen on the system, players will have full control over the falling beans.
Anti-touchscreen-ists, can of course, use the D-Pad. The top screen will be used for player and character information.
Multiplayer support, as with wireless support, is unknown at the time. However, they most likely will both be included in the final copy for some great multiplayer action!
