While Microsoft’s Corporate Vice President LIVE, Software and Services for the Interactive Entertainment Business (the guy who prints his business cards is retired now, by the way) John Schappert has said that the Xbox 360 has reached over 18 million units sold around the world, its days of dominance may be numbered in the US.
According to a comment made to Bloomberg by Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime, the Wii will surpass the total number of US Xbox 360 unit sales in June, thanks due in part to a little title called Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The same game which has almost reached one and a half million units sold in just three weeks in Japan, due for a US release on March 9th.
Of course, other titles such as Mario Kart Wii (rumored to be released in late April) and Wii Fit (May 19th) are sure to do their part to help, too.
