So yeah, spoiler, Moira’s not dead. If you’re watching this, you should have played/watched all of the regular Resident Evil; Revelations 2 campaign first. The Struggle (is real) is about Moira’s survival over the following six months on the island until Barry arrives all ‘give me back my son (daughter)’ angry. Survival involves hunting for food, eating spider meat, and shooting zombies, you know, standard Resident Evil fare apparently.
