Publisher XSEED Games has confirmed that they will be publishing Samurai Shodown Sen in North America, the latest in the long-running series of weapon-based fighting games from master fighter developer SNK Playmore. Previously known as Samurai Shodown: Edge of Destiny, the game will now feature a much less unintelligible name.
Sen is an Xbox 360 exclusive, and as such will feature a massive roster of new and returning Samurai Shodown fighters from all over the world, including classic characters like Haohmaru, Nakoruru, and Charlotte, along with newcomers like Takechiyo and Angelica. It also features 3D graphics, new, brutal finishing moves, and, thanks to Xbox Live, online multiplayer and leaderboards.
The game is set to release on March 10.
