Shinji Mikami Not Going to Play Resident Evil 5

Shinji Mikami, the father of the Resident Evil series, doesn’t want to have anything to do with Resident Evil 5 and he’s not afraid to say it. Speaking to Official Playstation magazine, Mikami has stated that if he sees anything in Resident Evil 5 that isn’t done well, heads are going to roll. This is the guy who put zombie dogs in his game, I wouldn’t want to piss him off.

“I probably won’t play it. I won’t like it, because it’s not going to be the game I would have made,” he said. “It’ll just cause me stress if I play it. I think it could be fun for gamers to play it, but not for someone who has developed Resident Evil games.

He’s going to play it and everyone knows it. When you work on something for so many years and someone takes it over, of course you’re going to play it just to see what went down. Remember Mikami, you can’t bitch about it being horrible until you play through the whole thing!
