Sold Out In Japan!

Nintendo of Japan has made an official apology on its website to Japanese gamers, stating that the Nintendo DS has sold so well that in fact, it has sold right out. Nintendo deeply regrets this and is working hard to produce new units that can be shipped to retailers as soon as possible.

It may be a bit of a wait however as Nintendo won’t have a new shipment of meaningful numbers until the end of January. There is no word on any sort of similar problems in other countries, but you can be sure Advanced Media will continue to follow this situation as it develops.
