Sony Computer Entertainment Europe “Really Proud” of LittleBigPlanet, Resistance 2

For December, the PlayStation 3’s LittleBigPlanet and Resistance 2 each received ELSPA awards, Gold and Silver in honor of selling 200,000 and 100,000 units, respectively. LittleBigPlanet seems to be doing well enough that it is soon expected to attain Platinum status, which is — you guessed it — awarded for 300,000 units.

Naturally, this has Sony Computer Entertainment Europe quite happy, as they say that “it’s always an honour to receive awards” for their products.

“Next to those [awards] chosen by our consumers, we love the ones that actually relate to the sales success of the titles concerned. We are really proud of both LittleBigPlanet and Resistance 2.”

“… we think that they showcase why this is a great time to own a PlayStation 3.” — SCEE, to VideoGamer.com

I wonder how proud Killzone 2 is going to make them.
