Some of you may be familiar with a hack of the original Super Mario Bros. called “Super Mario Bros. Frustration,” which is designed to be head-bustingly difficult. Nonetheless, Miller has managed to succeed in besting this torturous game design:

And that’s not all. Evidently, Miller has found a way to make things even crazier with… Koopa Troopas. Tons and tons of Koopa Troopas. Throwing hammers. Along with Bullet Bills… who also throw hammers.

“Super Mario Forever” is a tough nut to crack, and it looks as though he’s still working on it. Here’s a glimpse:

Personally? I have no idea how people can drive themselves to do this. I’d never last. But it sure is fun to watch when they succeed, even if you’re wondering how many hours it took to reach that level.

What I wonder then is how well they adapt to something like New Super Mario Bros. Wii. Sure, it’s considerably easier, but it’s also unfamiliar territory. Do they breeze right through, or do they slip up here and there just like the rest of us?
