MINOR SPOILER ALERT: This trophy guide will NOT ruin the story of Spider-Man or spoil anything very significant. However, if you’re someone who likes to be surprised and explore the world, you may want to click off this article.
Spider-Man is one of the most beloved characters in fiction and one of the most iconic things about him is his tragic backstory. He’s a nerdy high schooler who doesn’t fit in and one day he gets bitten by a radioactive spider. Peter Parker than begins developing these special powers such as enhanced strength, mobility, the ability to climb on walls, and in some iterations, shoot organic webbing out of his wrists.
He tries to use his powers for fame and fortune, eventually, he lets his ego and greed prevent him from stopping a thief who ends up killing his Uncle Ben. Filled with rage, he tracks down the killer and vows to use his powers only for good, never for selfish reasons. Uncle Ben was a major influence on the man Peter Parker became and while it’s been done to death throughout the various Spider-Man mediums over the years, it’s still an essential aspect of the character.
Marvel’s Spider-Man skips the origin story and drops into Spidey’s career 8 years after he gets his powers. The story has nods to his wise uncle through easter eggs and small mentions in dialogue, but you never see him outside of pictures or hear his voice. If you feel like popping a trophy for the game, you can go visit Uncle Ben’s grave and pay your respects.
You can find it at one of the top northwestern points of the map up in Harlem. You can see a picture of it on the map below.
Once you arrive, walk up to the grave and press the button prompt. Spider-Man will say a few words and then the trophy will pop. Come back at the end of the game and something else will happen here. If you’re having trouble locating the grave, you can see a picture of it below.
