Square-Enix is pursuing the Nintendo DS, and wants to please not only fans of the system, but hardcore Square fans. In a weird twist, Square has asked buyers of Final Fantasy I & II for the Game Boy Advance which previously released Square games they would like to see on the Nintendo DS.
The list of titles that Square asked fans about are: Final Fantasy III, Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy V, Final Fantasy VI, the Seiken Densetsu (Secret of Mana) series, the Saga series, Chrono Trigger, Hanjuku Heroes and Chocobo.
While fans of Square games will be pleased to see that these games might be on the Nintendo DS, it is also disappointing that Square may take the easy way out by not developing games, and, the lack of Enix titles comes off as a bit strange.
