A Chocobo dungeon game was revealed at Square Enix’ Party Pre-Conference Meeting for the Wii and marks the tenth anniversary of the Chocobo game series.
Chocobo’s Dungeon Toki-Wasure no Meikyuu will have random dungeon design with turn-based battles much like the Playstation version that was released 10 years ago.
The main story involvs a Chocobo on a quest to recover the memories of villagers. In the trailer, these memories were sparkly objects that could be collected.
The producer of the game also hinted that fans of Chocobo Tales will receive something special. IGN guesses that this could be some form of DS and Wii connection.
