Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars Producer Ryota Niitsuma loves us all a lot. He must– look at how many cards he’s signing for the game’s pre-orders! That right there is the mark of passion, and you don’t want to disappoint him, do you? No, I didn’t think so.
Capcom points out that GameStop will be offering this pre-order promotion, which consists of one foil pack of eight randomly-selected lenticular (that means the image changes when you turn them certain ways; in this instance, from one Tatsunoko character to one Capcom) plastic trading cards. There are 12 in all to collect.
What’s more, though, is that there are 100 limited 3-D foil-stamped cards featuring exclusive Japanese artwork and “a message from Niitsuma-san, complete with an actual handwritten signature!”
Supplies are, of course, limited. So the sooner you reserve, the better. Here’s a closer shot of the packs and cards themselves:
I will admit, the complete and total lack of any Mega Man characters among the cards shown disappoints me, but that’s only eight of the 12; maybe the other four will bear fruit.
