Is it me, or does it seem kind of weird to see new material from the likes of Bungie, Microsoft, and Rare coming out of TGS? It’s probably just me.
Anyway, 16 new screens of Banjo and Kazooie’s lovely new adventure. I like how Banjo is managing to be set apart from the norm: He’s an animal, but not with “attitude.” I imagine that’s why he’s had a greater longevity in the minds of gamers for some time now.
Furthermore, it’s taking some steps away from the basic Mario mold. Rare’s Donkey Kong games basically followed Nintendo’s Mario titles, and Banjo didn’t stray too far from that, but this? This is different. While Sonic is off cribbing on Twilight Princess, Banjo is off pimpin’ some rides.
