Fans were disappointed when Nintendo announced that Metroid Prime: Hunters would release this year without any Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection support.
Then there was a sudden change with the game as its release date was pushed into the first quarter of 2006. Nintendo game no explanation on the matter, but fans hoped that the delay was for extra time to add the desired online capabilities.
Fans can finally rejoice as it is now officially announced that Metroid Prime: Hunters will release in the first quarter of 2006 and will support Nintendo’s soon-to-be-released Wi-Fi Connection. This feature will allow players to compete against anyone in the world in intense death matches and other multiplayer game modes on their DS.
The first titles to utilize Nintendo’s Wi-Fi Connection will be Mario Kart DS and Animal Crossing DS which will be released later this year.
Gamers can actually pre-test the game’s single-player mode this weekend at the Penny Arcade Expo in Washington. Additionally, more information of the game can be found at the Official Metroid Prime Hunters Website.SPIDER MAN DEMO VERSION
