The GameZone Podcast Ep. 4: EA, Disney, and lots of Apex Legends

We’re back with another episode of The GameZone Podcast, in the newest episode Cade, Mike, and newcomer Matt Liebl talk about all the ongoings with EA and Disney’s recent earnings calls where they gave a lot of interesting updates on the state of these entertainment empires.

Disney claims to be pretty pleased with EA’s handling of Star Wars but is that just trying to save face for the brand? EA’s also reporting disappointing results from Battlefield V, could that be series fatigue, poor timing, bad messaging, or something else? We discuss all of this AND our impressions of Respawn’s new battle royale game, Apex Legends.

Be sure to follow us on Soundcloud to get the episodes as soon as they go live. We’re currently working on getting it up on iTunes and Spotify so stay tuned on that front! We’ll be back next week talking Kingdom Hearts III and all the latest news!
