The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds cheats: How to unlock Hero Mode

For you hardcore and veteran Zelda players, who have been longing for more of a challenge from the franchise you know and love, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds answers your prayers. Through receiving ‘Hero Mode,’ you have the option to play the game from the beginning all over again in a much more challenging setting. How challenging you ask? How about enemies do FOUR TIMES the damage challenging because that is exactly what Hero Mode is.

If you’re thinking to yourself, x4 damage is a hell of a lot and that sounds impossible! Keep in mind, through tunic upgrades, Link receives half damage not once, but twice. Is it challenging, absolutely. Is it impossible? Nope.

To unlock ‘Hero Mode,’ complete the game on the standard difficulty.

Once unlocked, a new game will prompt an option of just how hard you want it to be. Best of luck to you!
