The Weekly Drop for Xbox One, PS4, and PC (3/23/15)

This is it! This is the big one guys! Remember? I kept referring to this week for like, weeks now! March was a crazy month for gaming. Everything from the family friendly Mario Party 10, to the more horror oriented Resident Evil Revelations 2, and the fantastic Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, all came out this month. And this week's got even more in store.

Whether you want to dive headfirst into the horror filled world of Bloodborne, or maybe revisit the world of Pandora in Borderlands the Handsome Collection, you have a lot to look forward to.

So without further ado, here is next week's Weekly Drop!

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection – PS4/Xbox One – March 24

If for some reason you were living under a rock and never ventured out into the world of Pandora in Borderlands 2 when it released on last-gen systems and PC, then the Handsome Collections is easily the best and biggest Borderlands package available to date.

The Handsome Collection contains Borderlands 2 as well as Borderlands the Pre-Sequel and all of the DLC that has previously been released for both games. That's a ton of content! Like, an unreal amount, and all for $59.99.

Bloodborne – PS4 – March 24

Easily one of the most anticipated titles for the PS4. Bloodborne from developer From Software, who has brought us games like Demon's Souls and Dark Souls, brings us a whole new world to explore and, most notably, die in.

While it may not be Souls in name, it's certainly very Souls-like in gameplay. You will explore, kill vile beasts, and die in a vicious pattern, learning the ins and outs of Yharnam, the game's central location. This time around instead of a fantasy setting like in previous Souls games, Bloodborne certainly leans more toward a gothic horror setting.

We also have an entire walkthrough coming as soon as our review hits, so in case you find yourself stuck in the horrors of Yharnam, we'll be there to help you every step of the way.

Life is Strange Episode 2 – Out of Time – PS3/PS4/Xbox 360/Xbox One/PC – March 24

I've been eagerly anticipating the second episode of Life is Strange, an adventure game that presents players with tough choices, wrapped in a neat time traveling package.

The last episode left me wanting more, as I was slowly discovering the secrets behind Max's powers, as well as seeing a glimpse of a terrifying future.

Metal Slug 3 – PS3/PS4/PS Vita – March 24

An oldie but a goodie. This classic shooter will have you taking on hordes of bad guys as you hail them with bullets.

Metal Slug 3 was originally released for the NeoGeo arcade system, and subsequently has seen releases on many platforms after that as well, and now PS4 gamers can get in on the action as well.

Pillars of Eternity – PC – March 26

If you're a fan of old-school party based games like Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale or Planescape Torment, then you should keep a lookout for Pillars of Eternity, which comes out on March 26th.

Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious – Xbox One – March 27

No one can argue about free right? The Fast & Furious standalone download will be free to download until April 10, and will coincide with the movie's release on April 3.

It won't require you to even own Forza Horizon 2, which makes it an even sweeter deal. Ludacris lends his voice to the game's main plot events, as you'll be able to partake in races with many of the movie's iconic cars.
