The Weekly Drop for Xbox One, PS4, and PC (3/30/15)

We did it guys. We survived last week's awesome games. We hunted beasts in Bloodborne, collected a bajillion guns in Borderlands the Handsome Collection and experienced the resurgence of classic, party-based RPGs with Pillars of Eternity.

But the month isn't quite over yet, and March has a few more games up its sleeve before we make our way to April. The busty beauties of DOA5 Last Round make their appearance on PC, the excellent homage to Metroid comes to PS4 and baseball fans have the most realistic take on the sport yet with MLB 15 The Show. It's another excellent week for gaming. So let's see what's in store.

Dead or Alive 5 Last Round – PC – March 30

PC fans had to wait slightly longer for DOA5 Last Round to make an appearance on their systems, but it might have been worth the wait. Not only will all of the previous DLC make its way to the PC version, Last Round comes with two completely new characters, Raidou and Honoka, as well as two completely new levels.

Axiom Verge – PS4 – March 31

When I say that Axiom Verge is inspired by Metroid, I mean that in in the most literal way possible. Its pixel based graphics coupled with extremely fun exploration and combat practically screams Metroid. But that's not a bad thing at all. While many games nail the Metroidvania aspect, Axiom Verge is certainly a loveletter to it. Don't miss this when it hits on March 31.

MLB 15 The Show – PS4 – March 31

Do you like Baseball? Do you like realistic players with realistic clothing and hyper-realistic beards? Then MLB 15 The Show is the game for you. This year there are a bunch of new online features that will take your game even further, making it easily the must-own Baseball game of the year. But seriously, have you seen those beards?

Neverwinter – Xbox One – March 31

The free-to-play MMO will be making the jump from PC to the Xbox One, bringing its fast-paced action combat along with it. Choose from a myriad of races and classes and set out into the world of Neverwinter and partake in a ton of quests.

Neverwinter will be available for free, just like its PC counterpart, and will also have microtransactions that players can opt to purchase with real money.

Toukiden Kiwami – PS4/Vita – March 31

Since monster hunter has become a genre more-so than just a series of games, there seems to be quite a boom of games that follow said formula. Toukiden: Kiwami, which is an updated version of Toukiden: The Age of Demons, will sport the original game in its entirety, as well as new and updated content. From new characters, to new weapons, Kiwami will exponentially expand on the base game. If you like games like Monster Hunter but prefer your combat more fast-paced like Dynasty Warriors, then definitely check Toukiden: Kiwami out.
