The Weekly Drop for Xbox One, PS4, PS Vita, and PC

It's all things anime

If you consider yourself a fan of anime, then you have quite a lot to look forward to with next week's releases. Whether it's the crazy arena fighter J-Stars Victory+, the gorgeous 2D fighting styles of BlazBlue, or perhaps a more traditional RPG experience with Ar Nosurge: Ode to an Unborn Star, there seems to be a lot of anime goodness to go around.

So with that said, let's check out all the games coming this week.

BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Extend – June 30 – PS3/PS4/Xbox One

If you like technically impressive 2D fighters that happen to be gorgeously drawn, then look no further than the BlazBlue series. This latest edition of BlazBlue will extend the storyline as well as include an extra playable character. What's more, PS3 and PS4 players will be able to battle against each other, though this is not supported in the Vita version.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 3: V Generation – June 30 – PS Vita

The third entry in the Hyperdimension remakes for the PS Vita which include brand new gameplay mechanics and enhanced gameplay. It's a remake of Neptunia Victory which originally released on the PS3 in 2013.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 3: V Generation

In this title, Neptune travels through time to 1989 to an alternate dimension where the country of Lowee prepares for war as rumors of Leanbox planning to invade their borders by sea.

J-Stars Victory VS+ – June 30 – PS3/PS4/PS Vita

Have you ever wondered whether Naruto, Luffy or Goku would come out victorious in an all out battle? Lucky you, J-Stars Victory VS+ is here to answer that question. Popular Shonen Jump characters will team up and battle against each other in teams of three.

Rise of Incarnates – July 1 – PC

Rise of Incarnates

Bandai Namco also has another title coming out next week in the form of a fast-paced arena fighter. Rise of Incarnates will let you play as powerful characters in a 2v2 arena where you'll have to utilize both close combat melee skills as well as ranged skills to take your opponents down. The game is currently in Steam's early access so if you want to check it out before its official release, you can do so now. It's completely free.

Ar Nosurge Plus: Ode to an Unborn Star – July 2 – PS Vita

This title has seen a release on the PS3 back in 2014, and is now heading to the PS Vita. Acting as a prequel to the Ar Tonelico series, it's also the continuation of the Ciel Nosurge title which was released in 2012. Players will assume the role of either Cas and Delta, or Earthes and Ion on a quest to find a song of protection, which was apparently stolen and used to cause machines to go haywire.
