Top 10 game developers we’re most thankful for

It's so easy in this industry to take things for granted. So often do the good things go unnoticed, while we hound developers for every little problem in a video game. So today, on Thanksgiving, we have the opportunity to reflect on the good, and thank those responsible for bringing us some awesome games. While we're thankful to all game developers, below are some who went the extra mile this year — and for that, we are incredibly thankful.

Telltale Games…

… for taking our favorite franchises and turning them into great game series.

Rockstar Games…

… for bringing us GTA V to Xbox One and PS4 in the first person.

Insomniac Games

… for bringing the fun back to gaming.

The Creative Assembly

… for restoring our faith in the Alien franchise.

Obsidian Entertainment

… for sticking it to censorship.

Ubisoft Montreal

… for reminding us that not every game needs to be a AAA blockbuster to be considered good.

BioWare

… for 100+ hours of gameplay.

Nintendo

… for making the console wars a three-way race again.

Respawn Entertainment

… for some kick-ass multiplayer.

Bungie

… for always listening.

Again, we're thankful for all the great games developers bring us. It can't be easy having to always appease the masses, especially with how critical a lot of us can be. So let's take a step back from all the hate tonight and just appreciate what these great people bring us.
