UPDATE: Documentation Released at Nintendo Stockholder Meeting Lists Xenoblade for North America

Nintendo Co, Ltd. recently held a shareholder meeting, and among the information released was a notable nugget of information regarding the fate of a possible localization for Xenoblade. The RPG is currently one of the Wii’s most anticipated hardcore titles to receive a localization, but Nintendo has been mum on the topic.

Among the documentation released at the shareholder meeting is an upcoming list of releases for each territory. Listed under North America is Monado: The Beginning of The World, the original title for Xenoblade. Although this listing was also in the documentation last year, it is curious that the listing was not removed (given that Monado was removed from the official Nintendo release calendar in December of last year). Though far from solid proof of a localization, this does provide a glimmer of hope to those anxiously awaiting the title’s release in English.

With no titles currently dated for Wii in the North America territory following next month’s Mario Sports Mix, let’s hope for more news in the near future.
