Valve Confirms Bundle Launch Dates

Shacknews has received official word from Valve that its upcoming bundle which will include Half-Life 2: Episode Two, Team Fortress 2 and the action/puzzle game Portal is expected for release on October 9. The package will be released on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

Consumers will be able to purchase the bundle in two ways, one being at retail and the other by using Valve’s own Steam download service. The retail version will be handled by Electronic Arts under the Half-Life 2: The Orange Box banner, which will include the original Half-Life 2 plus Half-Life 2: Episode One. Individual pricing has been set at $49.99 for the PC and $59.99 on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
